Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our client base through strategic partnerships, innovative marketing, and proactive client engagement. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our practice and contributing to the success of our clients.


Key Responsibilities:


- Strategic Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

  

- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive landscape.


- Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, cold outreach, and digital marketing.


- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their business needs and positioning our services as solutions.


- Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with industry influencers, associations, and other relevant organizations.


- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling business proposals and presentations to potential clients.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the coaching team to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and delivery of services.

Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the coaching, consulting, or professional services industry.

- Strong understanding of business coaching and the ability to articulate its value to potential clients.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel as needed.

Learning & Development Facilitator

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Facilitator to join our team at ActionCOACH Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering high-impact training programs to help business owners and their teams achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and deliver engaging training programs aligned with ActionCOACH's proven business coaching methodologies

- Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and opportunities within client organizations

- Develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, workbooks, and assessment tools

- Facilitate workshop sessions, both in-person and virtual, for groups of varying sizes

- Track and evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and performance metrics

- Collaborate with business coaches to ensure training programs support client goals

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of adult learning principles and training best practices

- Provide post-training support and follow-up to ensure learning transfer


Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, or related field

- Minimum 3 years experience in corporate training or adult education

- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design

- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

- Proven track record in developing effective training programs

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms

- Valid driver's license and own reliable transport


Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant training or facilitation certifications

- Experience in business coaching or consulting

- Knowledge of business management principles

- Background in entrepreneurship or small business management
